For Mötley Crüe, the group’s 1985 song “Home Sweet Home” was about life on the road for a major touring rock band.

But even for a small-town Arkansas country boy like Justin Moore, the message and emotion at the core of the song resonated.

Moore covers the song for the upcoming tribute album Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Mötley Crüe, which is due for release on Aug. 19. And now he’s released a music video for the song.

“They are truly one of the most disruptive bands of their generation,” Moore said in a statement, calling “Home Sweet Home” one of his favorite Mötley Crüe tracks.

The video begins by featuring Moore in career mode — getting pumped for a show, as well as in the studio performing and listening back. Those scenes are interspersed with flashbacks of Mötley Crüe performing the song in their heyday.
