On a recent tour stop in London, where he’s busy promoting his new album Riser, Dierks Bentley treated fans to a cool rendition of Avicii‘s popular single “Hey Brother.” Watch below as Bentley and his band put their spin on the EDM hit, complete with fiddle:

Avicii is a Swedish-born producer and electronic music DJ, and he’s been toying with folk- and bluegrass-style vocals in some of his recordings, including recent hits “Wake Me Up” and “Hey Brother.”

Bentley released his album Riser last month, and in an interview with he explained the life events and emotions behind the release.

“It’s crazy with touring and family and your dad passing away and at the same time your son is born,” he said. “As a songwriter, [you have to] keep that honesty and somehow put life into a three-minute-and-30-second song in different snippets throughout the whole album. That was the main challenge, and I feel like I was able to do that.”

In addition to releasing Riser, Bentley premiered the companion film Dierks Bentley: Riser in select cities leading up to his album release.
