Keith Urban loves the new line-up of judges on “American Idol!” Keith tells the USA Today that he and Jennifer Lopez immediately hit it off with Harry Connick Jr.

He says, “We’ve already shot two days in Boston, and it felt really good. And I think all three of us clicked really fast, and we just had compatible chemistry, and I think as personalities we just sort of clicked really quickly. I think Harry said it right, ‘It’s the unexpected.’ I mean, it’s sort of…I can’t label those things because they seem too cerebral. I just think we are who we are, all three of us, and it just seems very, very good together.”

Keith Urban says his time on American Idol makes him more appreciative of his success: “Being reminded of how fortunate I am to do what I get to do at this level. I’m always aware of it. I’m hyper aware of it when you’re around people that are going, ‘Oh, I would love to be able to record a song one day…’ ‘I’d love to be on the radio one day.’ It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was that guy. It’s nice to be reminded of that.”

Keith also took to the stage of the Late Show with David Letterman last night (9/11) while on his promotional tour of his new album “Fuse”.  Check out Keith performing a track from the album called “Good Thing” right here:
