kenny jay and sheryl crow dl Kenny Jays Top 3 Summer Country Songs For 2013

The great thing about summer songs is the feeling you get when you hear them. There were a bunch of great ones last year – Luke Bryan’s “Drunk On You,” Eric Church’s “Springsteen,” Little Big Town’s “Pontoon” and Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise”. I could do a top 30 list of summer songs, but since we’re narrowing it down to the top three, I’ll try to predict the Top 3 Summer Country Songs for 2013:

3.  Zac Brown Band – “Jump Right In”

There is a chance that this is the number one song in country when the guys hit the stage at Target Field in July with Kenny Chesney … how cool would be to turn that concert into a big ol Minnesota Number One party?!

2.  Brad Paisley – “Beat This Summer”

Summer love… I can think back to a few and I bet you can too. Roll down the windows, reminisce (sp?) and sing along!

1.  Randy Houser – “Runnin Outta Moonlight”

It doesn’t have summer in the title, but just one listen to the lyrics gives you the feel of summer… “I wanna hold you til the break of dawn, hear the crickets sing a riverside lover song. Hey baby all we got is all night, come on now we’re runnin’ outta moonlight”

What do you think of my list? Let me know on Facebook or Twitter … and I’ll give you one more awesome summer song. It’s not country and it’s from the summer of 91. “Drums Please!” Watch it here:
