Kid Rock fans will be facing off to scoop up the best tickets for his upcoming amphitheater tour, where seats in every section – from the front to the lawn – will cost just $20.

The summer $20 Best Night Ever Tour kicks off June 28 in Virginia and wraps up September 15. Openers Kool & The GangZZ Top and Uncle Kracker will rotate on and off the 29-date tour, which includes a three-night residency in Kid Rock’s hometown of Detroit.

Tickets go on sale April 12, and though not everyone will be lucky enough to score reserved seats at the bargain $20 price, Kid Rock is saving the first two rows of each venue to give away as free upgrades, selected at random.

Additionally, the tour is partnering with participating Walmart stores to offer tickets at an all-in price, which has no added fees or parking charges. To cut down costs even further, venues will also feature $4 draught beers, discounted food packages and free samples of sandwiches and coffee.

These money-saving measures will soften the blow to fans’ wallets, but 1,000 of the best seats in the house are forgoing the $20 deal to be sold at market price. The arrangement is a tactic to dissuade scalpers by reducing their money-making opportunity. Fans who wish to pass up the bargain price in favor of better stage views will be able to purchase the more expensive Platinum Tickets from LiveNation.

Kid Rock will be supporting his November 2012 album Rebel Soul. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
