Fan Voting Now Open For Two Top ACM Awards Categories

Don’t let anyone tell you that the fans don’t have a say when it comes to award shows. At least that’s the case for two of the most prestigious categories at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Both the New Artist of the Year and the Academy’s highest honor of all, Entertainer of the Year, are fan-voted categories. And the voting has now begun at Users are required to register in order to participate, and fans can vote once per day between now and the day of the ACM Awards broadcast on Sunday, April 7.

The five nominees for this year’s ACM Entertainer of the Year are Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift, and you can check out video profiles of each of these nominees on

The three New Artist of the Year nominees are Brantley Gilbert, Jana Kramer and Florida Georgia Line. Each of these artists was already voted in to this final category by fans during an earlier campaign that determined New Female Vocalist, New Male Vocalist, and New Vocal Duo or Group.

The 48th annual ACM Awardscohosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, air Sunday, April 7 at 8pm ET on CBS.
